My husband had Parkinsons, first symptoms aged 27, finally diagnosed aged 42..he passed away aged 86.. 19 months ago.
He was fortunate that I had nursing experience I cared and looked after him..also we attended a Parkinson’s group, then I ran one for a couple of years..Then we in the Hunter area were lucky to recieve a Parkinsons Nurse at the John Hunter Hospital.. best thing ever for the patients and carers..Still today carers of Parkinson patient need help as not all can handle it like we did..Please make it easier for people to access help from Goverment Departments.
